the steak was amazing! all the sides were great, and my boyfriend got the pasta carbonara and it was a great quality pasta. the service was great as well. our server was diego, and he was incredibly helpful and kind. i would recommend this place to anyone looking for great food at a reasonable price!

Happened to have an appointment nearby today and have been wanting to try this place, so took myself out for lunch. Restaurant was clean, starting to get busy when I arrived at 11:25, service was fast and friendly and I loved each item that I had! I ordered the Octopus starter (fabulous!), the tuna poke bowl with greens and made the mistake of peeking at the dessert menu and took a crème brûlée home. Beyond the great food, Brandon was one of the best servers I’ve had in a long time! Greeted me quickly, friendly, offered opinions on menu items and was frequently back to refill my water glass…even offered to keep an eye on my to-go box and jacket so I could utilize the restroom before I left as a solo diner. I sincerely hope his manager sees this and rewards him appropriately! Can’t wait to take my S/O back with me for dinner!
We had dinner at Bonfyre the other night. Food was excellent! Our server, Onur, was very informative and attentive to our needs. He had an infectious energy and friendliness that added to our great dining experience. I can truly say we had a “fun” time…who else can say that about their last dining out? Icing on the cake was having a draught Paulaner Salvator (one of my favorites that is rarely on tap) with my meal. We’ll definitely be back next time we’re in town.
Had dinner here when I was at a conference in madison. I thought the food was excellent! I had the pot roast and it was really tasty with a very nice portion of local vegetables. We also had the truffle fries and they were quite tasty with a very large portion.
Nov 2025: Good service, but mixed review on food choices this time. BBQ Baby Back Ribs, the Curry Bowl and the Vegetable Risotto side dish ($6 upcharge) were all excellent and great value choices. On the flipside, the Herb Rotisserie Chicken (Previously a favorite) was so dry we couldn't eat it and fortunately was taken off our bill. Morts Pot Roast was also pretty disappointing - lots of fat and just lacking pot roast flavor. Jambalaya was a good GF, dairy free option! Previous Visits. . . Jose, our server, described in detail the specials of the day and brought us a great selection of desert cups to choose from for desert. Fast service too! Our order consisted of Wood-Fyred Mixed Grille, Prime Sirloin Steak with Asparagus, Wagyu Burger and Fried Fish Tacos. Everything was excellent and prepared correctly. My wife and I shared the Wood-Fyred Mixed Grille and they offered to split it into two plates for us. Serving size was still great! The ribs in the mixed grille were tender and had a wonderful BBQ sauce! We had the cheese curds for our appetizer and they were definitely up to Wisconsin standards!
